Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026 · Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Techydesk Web Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a web design business based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you contact us or submit your details through one of our forms. We operate as a service of Techydesk Consultancy Services Ltd., registered in Alberta, Canada.
Information we collect
When you reach out to us or fill out one of our forms, we may collect the following personal information:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Information about your business, such as your business name and business type
We only collect the information you choose to provide. We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority.
How we collect it
We collect this information in two main ways:
- Facebook Lead Ads: when you submit your details through a lead form attached to one of our Facebook ads.
- Our website: when you fill out the contact form on web.techydesk.com or reach us through the phone, email, or WhatsApp links provided on our site.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use your personal information for one purpose: to respond to your interest in our web design services. Specifically, we use it to:
- Contact you about your inquiry;
- Build and share a free, no-obligation website demo for your business; and
- Follow up with you about our web design services.
Follow-up may take place by phone, text message, WhatsApp, or email, using the contact details you provide. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide our service to you, which may include:
- Meta / Facebook: information submitted through a Facebook lead form is also collected and processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. as the provider of the lead form, in accordance with Meta’s own privacy policies.
- Service providers: trusted providers that help us operate our website and communicate with you, such as our website host and email provider. These providers may only use your information to perform services on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
How we store and protect your information
Your information is stored within the tools we use to run our business — such as our secure email, our business records, and the Facebook/Meta platform where applicable. Access is limited to the business owner (Gopi). We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, and our website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
We keep your information only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and provide our services, and we delete it when it is no longer required for that purpose.
Your privacy rights
You have the right to ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date; or
- Delete your personal information from our records.
To make any of these requests, simply contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that information submitted through Facebook may also need to be managed through your Facebook account or Meta’s tools (see below).
Compliance with Canadian privacy law
We handle your personal information in accordance with Canada’s federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This means we collect only the information we need, use it only for the purposes described in this policy, and protect it with reasonable safeguards.
Because some information is collected through Facebook lead forms, that information is also subject to Meta’s data policies. We encourage you to review Meta’s Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy to understand how Meta handles data on its platform.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
